ALTIS KOLIN represents more than hundred years` tradition of top food production. During these times ALTIS KOLIN became one of the biggest producers of food semi-products for sweet-makers, especially healthy soya bars and sweets and at the same time the biggest producer of diabetic sweets in Central Europe.


HISTORY

The company's history started in 1894 when its predecessor, Kolinska tovarna, started production of a coffee substitute - Kolin chicory. In the 50s the company under the name Soja Kolin specialized in soya processing and production of food semi-products. With the new specialization, the company established itself successfully on the Central-European market and won customers' respect. Since the 60s, the company in Kolin has had to its disposal the largest capacity for processing of soya beans designated for preparation of products for human consumption in Central Europe. At the end of last century company with a new name ALTIS® Kolín won customersę respect with new product lines respecting new trends in nutrition and interests of consumers - healthy confectionery based on soya and sugar-free sweets.


PRODUCT LINES

The ALTIS basic strategy is to produce and offer high quality food products respecting modern trends in nutrition and habits of end users. The stress is put on a maximal use of various soya forms and on expanding an offering of final products. All products are developed as suitable as possible and ready for production with "private label".
Presently, the company offers its customers four basic product lines:

"LA SOYA CONCEPT" - HEALTHY CONFECTIONERY - among the most famous products belong traditional soya bars and snacks, presenting the exact border between the sweets represented by chocolate, marzipam or fondant treats and classical so called "healthy" products. Health, few calories, high protein content, optimal nutritional values and at the same time delicious taste - these are the values that the costumer seeks and appreciates. (see)

SUGAR FREE AND DIABETIC CONFECTIONERY - unique product line DIANELLA produced without sacharose targeted on those on sugar-controlled diet involves various confectionery products - sweet boxes, bars, chocolates, etc. The DIANELLA product line is prepared and modified in the long term fashion in cooperation with prominent doctors specializing in diabetes and diets so that it suits as much as possible the needs of diabetics and all those who want to practice a healthy lifestyle. SEMIFINISHED PRODUCTION - company took up a dominant place on the market with its deliveries of food semi-products, especially whole soya flour (soya cereals, grits, wholemeal and plain flour, soya powder) and confectionery semi-products (glazes, filling and cover masses, etc.) (see)

CONFECTIONERY - various products produced under private labels of key customers - peanuts in sugar, hazelnut and peanut spreads, drageed nuts, etc. - presents very important part of port-folio giving a possibility to ALTIS Kolin to be as attractive and flexible to new clients as possible. (see)
